
A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she passed away at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 64, a native of Ventress and a resident of Zachary. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Daniel P. "Skip" D'Amico Sr.; two sons, Daniel P. "Danny" D'Amico Jr. and Brad A. D'Amico and wife Darlene, of Zachary; two daughters, Marie D'Amico Nelson and husband Chris and Sonya D'Amico Zimmer and husband John, all of Baton Rouge; six grandchildren, Jason DeBenedetto, Rocco DeBenedetto, Lt. Cpl. Cody D'Amico, Pfc. Talor D'Amico, Ariel D'Amico and Gabriella Maggio; brother, Lloyd Lindsly and his wife, Theresa, of Ventress; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Odette Lindsly; brother, Jerry Lindsly; granddaughter, Madison Maggio; and grandparents, Numa A. and Louise Lindsly and George "Prime" and Hermine Picard Aguillard. She was a homemaker who enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her family. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, March 24, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation continues at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church on Tuesday at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Jack Nutter, celebrant. Entombment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Jason DeBenedetto, Rocco DeBenedetto, Chris Nelson, John Zimmer, Brad D'Amico and Danny D'Amico. Honorary pallbearers are Lt. Cpl. Cody D'Amico and Pfc. Talor D'Amico. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.
