Dorothy Ann Sellers Guillory, 86, native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away peacefully at her home. She grew up helping with her family’s restaurant Eddie’s, where she learned to cook by her mother’s side. She retired after 25 years of serving the Baton Rouge School Board as a bus driver. With her infectious smile, kind heart, and loving grace, Dorothy was the definition of a Southern Belle. She was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Dorothy was a devoted to her family and loved “her puppies”. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years and father of her children, Roland R. Sellers; second husband, Linus “LJ” Guillory; parents, Edward Joseph, Jr. and Anna Rucker Bonnecaze; brothers, Edward and Thomas Bonnecaze; and her sister, Marjorie Pino. She is survived by her children, Sharon Ann Sellers, Anna Katherine Thigpen (John), and Roland R. Sellers, II; 10 grandchildren, Mindy Butler, Hunter Harris, LeAnna Torres, Angela Johns, Timothy, Randy, and Duane Thigpen, Jodi Awbry, Daniel Sellers, and Demi Megnin; 21 great-grandchildren, Blake, Bella H., Bella B., Patrick, William, Katherine, Benjamin, Nathan, Joshua, T.J., Billy, Jessica, Andrea, Angelle, Amber, Monique, Michelle, Marissa, Ellen Marie, Matthew, Triston, and Kai; great-great granddaughter, Elenor; one brother, Henry Bonnecaze; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Saturday, September 4th from 12 pm until funeral service at 2 pm. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Cemetery.
