A loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away at the Carpenter House on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at the age of 61. She was a resident of Central and a retired school bus driver for EBR. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and loved spending time with her family, dogs, and sewing. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. on Thursday, March 21, 2013, from 5 PM until 9 PM and will resume Friday, March 22, 2013, from 9 AM until the service at 10 AM conducted by Fr. Mike Moroney. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by her husband, Michael D. Burleigh, Sr.; daughter, Hondie Betz and David; sons, Michael Burleigh, Jr. and Linda “Dinky”, and Jonathan Burleigh and Amanda; brother, Bradley Lloyd; and granddaughter, Rebecca Betz. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmo and Martha Lloyd. Pallbearers will be Michael Burleigh, Jr, Jonathan Burleigh, David Betz, Daniel Betz, Jay Martin, and Bradley Lloyd.
