Bookie was an avid traveler, outdoorsman, and LSU and Nascar fan. He loved to cook and entertain for his family and friends. He never met a stranger and once you met him, you would never forget him. Bookie was well known and respected in the Central community.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Hollie Guercio Watts; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tony and Toni Guercio; brother and sister-in-law, Milton and Mary Kay Watts; sister and brother-in-law, Jackie Sue and Seth Jenks; sister-in-law, Avery Guercio; brother-in-law, Pat Guercio and Debbie Barton; brother-in-law, Kerry Guercio; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Casey Watts; son, Don Watts; daughter, Lisa Watts Withers; step sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Kourtney Rogers and David and Carolina Rogers; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Watts and his mother, Mary Grace Watts.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, April 26 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 27 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church at 12:00 pm (noon). Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Douglas Watts, Evan Allen, Jack Watts, Mil Jenks, Pat Guercio, and Allen Gilbert
