Diane Mouk, born July 20, 1941 and raised in Chicago, IL, died Tuesday, August 22nd, 2017, at the age of 76. “Be still, and know I am God.” “Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.” During her many years of teaching and Christian counseling, Diane strove to be the good soil in which God’s Word was planted and harvested. “I will sing of Your Love forever.” Diane’s joy in singing and dancing reflected praise to our Savior and King. Diane is survived by her daughter, Kristin Mouk, brother, Paul Nystrom and wife, Mary; nieces, Nicole, Suzanne, and nephew, Peter Nystrom, all of Florida. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn Mouk of Baton Rouge, LA, father, Paul Nystrom and mother, Lillian Nystrom of Chicago, IL. A memorial service will be held at Community Bible Church, 8354 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA, on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Community Bible Church.
