Dennis W. Taylor, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Sunday October 9, 2016 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet at the age of 57. He was retired from BASF. Dennis was preceded in death by parents Daniel C. “D.C.” and Solena King Taylor; a sister, Carolyn J. Taylor; a brother Dwayne A. Taylor. Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Waguespack Taylor; his children, Joshua M. Taylor, Laura L. Taylor and her daughter, Solena, Courtney M. Ferguson, Steven W. Ferguson, Jr., and Danielle N. Ferguson; his brother James Calvin Taylor and his wife Joyce Summers; and his dogs, Fred and Sam. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 5 pm- 8 pm. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, from 9 am until funeral services begin at 10 am. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
