A resident of Pride and native of Baton Rouge passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014, at the age of 61. He was the owner of Fletchers Finishers, LLC and a member of Twist of Fate. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Fletcher; mother, Louise Fletcher; sister, Julie Bjork and husband, Jerry; step children, Krista Thornton and husband, Bernace, Eric Sistrunk and wife, Lakely, and Amy Higginbotham; grandchildren, Hailey and Tiffany D’Avion, Sarah and Kara Thornton,and Kyla Higginbotham; niece, Tonya Kirkwood; nephew, Robert Bjork; and special friends and family. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Fletcher. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, from 5 PM until 9 PM and will resume on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at 8:30 AM until funeral service at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
