Darlene L. Silvio

Darlene Lynn Silvio, native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on October 4, 2023 at the age of 75. She is survived by her son, Charles Corey Richardson, Sr. and his wife Clarese; grandchildren, Charles Corey “CJ” Richardson, Jr. and Gia Marie Richardson; sister, Kim Silvio Hatfield and husband Doug; brother, Vic Silvio; niece Tiffany Ashley; great niece and nephew, Amia Stone and Dylan Pickard; and a host of friends and family who loved her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Victor J. and Hazel LeBlanc Silvio; her life partner, Chuck Richardson; and her beloved pet, Collie.

Darlene retired as Bar Manager from her family owned business after 30 years of service. She loved spending time with her 2 grandchildren playing board games, doing crafts, and going to sports events with them. Darlene adored her grandchildren and cherished her time with her family.

A visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 10 am until funeral service at 12 pm.

The family would like to thank Baton Rouge General ICU staff and the Burn Unit staff for the care and kindness shown during her stay.
