Eccl 3:1 “For everything there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven.” Corinne Landry passed away on April 12, 2015, at Ollie Steele Burden Manor after a prolonged illness. Born November 16, 1921, she was a native of Baton Rouge and a 1940 graduate of St. Joseph Academy. She was a lifelong member of Catholic Daughters of America, Gulf States Quilting Association, Patchwork Pelicans Quilt Guild, Strawberry Patch Quilters and St. Thomas More Quilters. She was a devoted member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Prior to becoming a homemaker, she was employed by the Louisiana State Department. She is survived by daughter Anna Marie Nichols and son-in-law Harold “Nick” Nichols; five grandchildren, Shane J. Douet, Kimberly Douet, Ruth Stubbs, Debby Herman, and David Nichols; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Joseph E. Landry Jr., her son Clyde B. Landry, her parents Theodora and Ira Tullier and two brothers, Gerald Tullier and Rene Bernard Tullier. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA, Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Visitation will resume at Greenoaks Funeral Home, Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 9:00am-til 10:30am and a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 11:00am, celebrated by her godchild Fr. Eric Gyan.
