Cleo Theresa Plauche'Ducote

Ducote,  Cleo Theresa Plauche'Cleo was a retired deli manager with A&P Supermarket, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Plaucheville. She died at 1:30pm Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the Butterfly Wing-Hospice of Baton Rouge. Cleo was 85. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, Thursday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Visitation will resume Friday at St. Pius X Catholic Church from 9:00am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am, conducted by the Rev. Frank B. Bass. Interment will follow at Blackwater Methodist Church Cemetery. She is survived by her daughters: Bonnie Gomez and Jodie Devall; her sons: Reginald Ducote, Curtis Ducote and Robert Ducote, Jr.; her sisters: Iris LaBorde and Jenora Landry; her brothers: Riley Plauche' and Reeves Plauche'; her grandchildren: Brian Perry, Kelli Schenk, Season Gomez, Dawn Ducote, Denise Ducote, Troy Ducote, Hannah Ducote, Andrea Randal, Kerri Morrow and Amber Sussman.  Cleo was preceded in death by her parents: Curtis&Olive Plauche'; her husband: Robert Ducote, Sr.; daughter: Elizabeth Ducote; sister: Edna LaCour; brother: Melvin Plauche'; grandchildren: Timothy Perry and Reginald Ducote, Jr.; daughter-in-law: Patricia Ducote; and son-in-law: Roy Devall. Pallbearers will be Troy Ducote, Ed Gomez, Scott Carter, Donnie Schenk, Kyle Morrow and Orville Randal. Honorary pallbearers are Brian Sussman, Hannah Ducote and Brian Perry. Cleo graduated from Plaucheville High School; she was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of New Roads. She loved to play cards with her friends and being around her family. The family would like to thank Heritage House and Hospice of Baton Rouge for their kindness and care.
