Clay M. Chenevert Jr., a loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Baton Rouge, LA, born April 1, 1939; Clay was a 1957 graduate of Istrouma High School and attended LSU. Clay retired from Franklin Press Inc. after 35 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clay M. Chenevert Sr. and Christine Frey Chenevert; sister, Jewel Chenevert Roach; and brother, Edward A. Chenevert. Clay is survived by his wife, Joslyn DeMolle Chenevert; daughters, Kathy Chenevert Meyers and husband Greg of Gulf Breeze, FL., Cindy Chenevert of Baton Rouge, and Tiffany M. Davis; son, Blair M Chenevert of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Nicholas Davis, Allison Chenevert, Devin Boyle, Terron Boyle, Madeline Chenevert; great grandchild, Dempsey June Ricketts; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 11am until service at 2pm. Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Will Butler, Latin DeMolle, Greg Meyers, Blair Chenevert, Nicholas Davis and Terron Boyle. Honorary pallbearers will be: Patrick DeMolle and Tom Roach.
