Chriss Patrick McDonner, 46, passed away on February 26, 2013 at 11:03 am at Baton Rouge General Medical Center after a brief battle with Hodgkins Lymphoma. A U.S. Army veteran, Chriss was a Mechanical Supervisor at Exxon Mobil in Chalmette and was a fun loving and loyal friend to everyone who knew him. His hobbies included hunting, cooking and woodworking. These all came to a halt when he became a “daddy”. His hobbies then became his “5” girls. Chriss was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle who will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 19 years, Leslie Womack McDonner; four beautiful daughters, Madelyn Grace “Maddie” age 9, Maragaret Grace “Gracie” age 7, Mollie Grace age 5, and McKenzie Grace age 4; six older brothers, James W. McDonner II and his wife Karen of Slidell, Paul Gregory McDonner and wife Paula of Baton Rouge, Terry Philip McDonner and wife Denise of Baton Rouge, Timothy Wade McDonner and wife Sharon of Livingston, Mark Claude McDonner and wife Evie of Zachary, and Jeffrey Everitt McDonner of Lakeland, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, James W. “Runt” McDonner and Margaret Helen McDonner of Baton Rouge. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Frday, March 1, 2013 from 8am until time of services at 10am. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
