Charles Gregory"Greg"Giamanco

Charles Gregory "Greg" Giamanco, 66, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Friday, January 16th, 2015. He was the owner and operator of Giamanco's Restaurant and in the restaurant industry for 46 years. He enjoyed developing recipes and learning new technologies. For over 40 years, Greg was a volunteer and advocate for the rights and needs of people with autism and special needs. He played an active role in the daily life of his daughter Rhonda. Greg's respect for all people, love and guidance for his family, and strong Christian faith was constant through his life and will continue in the hearts of his friends and family and all those who knew him. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd. on Tuesday January 20, 2015 from 6:00 PM till -9:00 PM and again on Wednesday January 21, 2015 from 10am until services in the chapel at 12 PM officiated by Rev. Mike Maroney. Greg is survived by his wife of 44 years Patricia Ferachi Giamanco; children: Rhonda Lynn, Jason Michael and wife Jade, Patrick Gregory and fiancee' Olivia Reed of Atlanta; brother Russ Giamanco; sister Jeanette Pendley. He is preceded in death by his parents Charley and Josephine Giamanco, sister Charlotte Giamanco Hymel, brother Ronald David Giamanco. He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Louisiana State University.
