"Charles Alan D'Antoni, a native and lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on November 4, 2019 at the age of 70. Charles was a graduate of Istrouma High School and a percussionist in the school marching band. He received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Air Force. His interests were art, jazz, and meaningful conversation. He traveled through this world a pilgrim, searching for the truth. In the end, his body was scarred and battle worn, though his spirit and mind were at peace. He will be truly missed by those who knew him. He is survived by his brother, Frank W. D'Antoni; and nephews and niece, Gino G. Perkins, Jesse C. D'Antoni, and Leta D'Antoni Ford. He was preceded in death by parents, Frank J. D'Antoni and Bobbie Slaton D'Antoni; and brother, Samuel Glen D'Antoni. The family would like to thank Our Lady of the Lake Hospital for their care, and those who have offered condolences.
