A resident of Greenwell Springs, she passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 86 and a native of Newark, N.J. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Friday July 9, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting continues at the funeral home Saturday, July 10, from 8 a.m. until service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Garlin Mizell. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Catherine is survived by three daughters, Caroline Haacks and fiancé Marshall Lyons, Suzanne Cain and husband Mickey, and Cindy Tidwell and husband Bill; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas A. Jr. and Linda Wilson, and Kenneth D. and Susan Wilson; brother, George Christman and wife Jean'; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Catherine Christman; husband, Thomas A. Wilson Sr.; brother, Theo; sister, Caroline; and nephew, Teddy. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Catherine was a member of Senior Citizens "Ramblin Gamblers" and Exxon Annuitant Club.
