Carolyn Sue Owens

She is survived by her children, Cindy Sue Barry (Kenny) and Holly Ann Benoit (Larry); grandchildren, Wynter Roy, Trinity Harvey (Evie), Michael Bonner(Amber), and Derrick and Dylan Bercheen; great-grandchildren, Sophie Broussard, Maddie, Mallory and Dottie Harvey, and Rhett Bonner; siblings, Ronald Owens and Gary Owens (Judy); and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin H. and Wilda Givens Owens; daughter, Kelli Jean Mixon Williams; and brother, James “Jimmy” Owens.

Carolyn, better known as Sue, was a 1957 graduate of Istrouma High School. She had a great love for her grandkids, enjoyed her bowling leagues, shopping with her granddaughter and spending time with her family and friends. She worked in one of the Louisiana State Offices for many years, and was beloved by all who knew her.
