Carolyn Hudson Barnett passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017, at the age of 68. She was a native and a long-time resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Stephanie McKenzie (Joel); grandchild, Drew; sister, Linda Breaux (Lawrence); niece, Shannon Sons (Sammy); nephew, Shawn Grimball; and numerous great nieces and nephews and other family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Helen Hudson; grandparents, George and Ruby Hogan, and Henry and Georgie Hudson. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. Visitation will resume at Greenoaks on Thursday, August 10, 2017, from 9:00AM until the time of funeral service at 10:00AM. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
