Caroline C. Norton a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Monday April 25, 2016 at her residence at the age of 67. She retired after more than 20 years of service with the Louisiana State Attorney General’s Office. Caroline was a graduate of Baton Rouge High, LSU School of Fine Arts and LSU Law School. She was an true advocate for animal rights and environmental causes. Caroline was a brilliant, passionate person and enchanting artist and a true friend to many. Caroline was preceded in death by her father Coman S. Norton, mother Hermine Verbeck Norton; grandmother, Ragnhild V. Brass.Caroline is survived by her daughter, Lauren Stickman Dupont, four grandchildren, James-Aaron Dupont and wife Jessica, Kase Dupont and wife Hannah , Addison and Arlynn Dupont; three great-grandchildren, Ezra Daniel, Eden James and Judah Slade Dupont; two sisters Debbie Pace and husband Kenneth Lynell and Patricia Norton Hudnall and her husband John. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Saturday April 30, 2016 from 2pm-3pm. Memorial Services will begin at 3pm.
