Carol Ann Parrino

Carol Ann Parrino passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at the age of 73. She was a native and lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, LA. She was a graduate of Glen Oaks High School, Class of 1967. In her younger days, she loved to dance, but later in life, Carol enjoyed doing puzzles, reading and attending events of grandchildren. But above all, she cherished the time she got to spend with her family and friends.

Carol is survived by her children, Heather Campanile Halbrook and husband, James, and Paul Campanile and wife, Diep; grandchildren, Alexis Campanile, Logan Halbrook, Gracie Halbrook and Landen Halbrook; mother, Mary Parrino; siblings, Dennis Parrino and wife, Rocio, and Brenda Parrino-Netzberger and husband, Richard; nephew, Andrew Parrino; and a host of other family members. She is preceded in death by her father, Nick Parrino, Jr.; and sister, Marilyn Parrino. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Sunday, August 14, 2022, from 2pm until 5pm. Visitation will resume at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave., Baton Rouge, LA, on Monday, August 15, 2022, from 9am until the time of funeral services at 10am. Inurnment will be at a later date at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pall bearers are James Halbrook II, Logan Halbrook, Landen Halbrook, Phil Baker, Donald Russell, Andrew Parrino. Honorary pall bearers are Richard Netzberger and Arlen Whitaker.
