Carol McDaniel Kaiser

Carol was born March 1, 1934. She was a native and lifelong resident of Baton Rouge. Carol was a graduate of Baton Rouge High School and attended LSU for three years until her marriage to John L. Kaiser. While at LSU, she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Social Sorority, elected as ROTC sponsor and the Sweet Heart of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Carol's sweet spirit and gracious smile are what she was known for. She was a friend and mentor to many. Carol is survived by her husband: John L. Kaiser; 4 sons: Jay Kaiser&wife Jody, Chad Kaiser&wife Teresa, Keith Kaiser&wife Bonnie and Jimmy Kaiser&wife Lori; daughter: Kathy Cox&husband Tim; along with her 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, whom she so loved; and a brother: James Roy McDaniel. Her parents, James E.&Jessie Nevils McDaniel preceded her in death. Pallbearers will be: Jordan, Michael, Tracey and Myles Kaiser, Will Petit and Chris Choat. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, Friday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Visitation will resume Saturday at the First United Methodist Church, 930 North Boulevard, from 9:00 am until the religious service at 10:00 am, conducted by the Rev. Pattye Hewitt. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
