Carol M. Barnett

Carol M. Barnett, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at the age of 84. A lifelong Louisiana resident, she spent the last 15 years living in Prairieville, LA. A devout Christian, she enjoyed contributing her time to the First Presbyterian Church in Baton Rouge and spending time with her loving family. Prior to her retirement in 2011, Carol worked as an administrative assistant at Padial Real Estate in Baton Rouge. Before her career in real estate, she worked in radio for over 30 years. She is survived by her children, Ronnie Barnett and wife, Gaynell, Robin Graham, Brent Barnett and wife, Melanie, and Sandy Douzart and husband, Steve; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; her best friends, Jackie Airhart and Launo Moore; and many others. She was preceded in death by her parents and dear friend and sister-in-law, Nickie Barnett. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. until Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
