A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, he enjoyed fishing, riding horses, boats, cars, motorcycles, playing baseball, and helping others.
Bruce was a pioneer in the adaptive driving industry. His life’s work modeled this passion with his invention of the EZ Lock Wheelchair Docking System. Bruce was the owner of many businesses solely catered to the mobility industry including: EZ Lock Inc, Electronic Mobility Controls, Constantin Transit Vehicles, and Constantin Ambulance Sales. His love for fishing drove him to open Off The Hook Charters. You would find Bruce in Venice, LA most weekends sharing this passion with others.
He is survived by his children, Candace Constantin-Narcisse (Marvin), and Todd Constantin (Lauren); grandchildren, Bryton, Beckett, and Nixon; mother of his children, Shirley Constantin; siblings, Suzanne Constantin and Max Constantin, III; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Max Constantin, Jr. and Joan Constantin.
A visitation for Bruce will be held Monday, April 3, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
