Brent passed away on February 17th at The Carpenter House of Saint Joseph Hospice at the age of 63. He lived his life caring for his mother of which she will miss him dearly. He was a 1970 graduate of Baton Rouge High School and retired from BREC City Park Tennis and Golf Club in 2006 after many years of service. He is survived by his mother Myrtle Gautreau Braud of Baton Rouge; sister, Jackie Bergeron and husband Ory, Jr. of Baton Rouge; brother, Merrill Braud and wife Cindy of Baton Rouge; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog Molly B. He is preceded in death by his father Linen "Jack" Braud. Visitation will be on Tuesday, Februay 19th at Saint Agnes Catholic Church, 749 East Boulevard in Baton Rouge from 1:00 pm until Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Neil Bergeron, Scotty Bergeron, Frank Caruso, Jr., Jimmy VanZandt, Joey VanZandt, and Mitchel Youngblood.
