Bonnie Rose Roy

"Bonnie Rose Ourso Roy passed away Thursday Oct. 12, at the Carpenter House.  She was the daughter of Sterling & Judith Ourso.  Bonnie was a native of Donaldsonville and a resident of Baton Rouge.  She was a loving and an exceptional wife, mother, stepmother and friend, who will be greatly missed and never forgotten.  She is survived by her husband, Shelly, two sons, Ryan Jarreau & wife Maxine  and Michael Jarreau, step daughter, Shelley Ann Roy, all of Baton Rouge.  Two brothers Edward & Jason Cassio of Donaldsonville.   The family would like to give a special thanks, to Dr. J. Brooks and the Staff of the Ochsner Cancer Center, St. Joseph Hospice/Carpenter House for their excellent and compassionate care, and special friends; Wanda Hebert & Patty Stepp and Family LeAnn, mother Enith & Shelley Ann Roy for their tireless assistance during Bonnie's illness.  Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home 825 Government St. Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 6PM until Service at 8PM Clyde Sandifer officiating.  In lieu of flowers the family request donation to St. Jude's Children Hospital or the charity of your choice.
