Bonnie Mae Jones Easley Locke, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice in Baton Rouge, surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Clinton on Nov. 26, 1944, and was a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. Bonnie was deeply devoted to her family and friends and their lives are forever changed by knowing her and loving her. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Monday, Sept. 5, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. until service at noon, conducted by Laverne King. Interment following at Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by daughters, Teri Gates and Renee Talbot; son, Craig Easley; grandchildren, Chase Lee Bostwick, Hunter Dupre, Alexandra Dupre, Tai Andrews and Beau Talbot; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jane and Roland King; aunts, Betty Fletcher, Bobbie Bonds and Shirley Blackard; uncle, T.J. Manchester; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Alton and Hazel Jones; brother, Alton Jones Jr.; nephew, Mike King; and niece, Tonya Manchester. Pallbearers will be Brian Antie, Chase Lee Bostwick, Brad DiGerolamo, Hunter Dupre, Bryan King, Walter Santos, Matt Tate and Joshua Wartelle. The family would like to thank the compassionate and attentive staff at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice for all of their care and support during Bonnie's illness.
