Bobbie Sue Robinson, “Mimi,” a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away August 29th, 2024 in Baton Rouge. She was 83. Bobbie Sue was born Bobbie Sue Cunningham on January 16th, 1941 in Denham Springs and attended Baton Rouge High School where she was voted Beauty Queen and soon after raised three boys, Wade Bynum Randolph, III, John Michael Randolph, and Mark Hampton Randolph. She went on to meet and marry the love of her life, Mackie Robinson, Jr., owner of Robinson Brothers Ford Lincoln, and together they traveled the world and enjoyed spending time with their children and grandchildren at their beach home in Orange Beach, Alabama. Bobbie Sue was the former owner of Puddin’s Shoe Store, awarded Baton Rouge’s Best Dressed, a member of the Baton Rouge Country Club, and an avid supporter of many regional and global charitable organizations. She is survived by her youngest son Mark Hampton Randolph and wife Rachel; beloved grandchildren Andrew Bynum Randolph, Audrey Marie Randolph, Ava Elizabeth Randolph, London Robinson, and Maxwell Robinson, IV; stepson Maxwell “Chip” Robinson, III and wife Sandi; stepdaughter Rene Robinson Armatta; brother Elmore Ernest Cunningham, Jr.; and daughters-in-law Tracey Randolph and Tina Randolph. Bobbie Sue is preceded in death by her beloved husband of thirty-six years, Maxwell “Mackie” Gerald Robinson, Jr.; mother Lucille Bankston Cunningham; father Elmore Ernest Cunningham, Sr.; sons Wade Bynum Randolph, III and John Michael Randolph; and brother Manuel Gene Cunningham. Out of respect for Bobbie Sue’s wishes, no funeral services will be conducted, and a private visitation was held for the family. Interment will follow with her husband at Greenoaks Memorial Park in Baton Rouge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Battle Against Autism, 11455 Airline Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
