Kennedy, 78, passed away after a brief illness with COVID on December 31, 2020 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Connie and Annie Kennedy. He is survived by his wife, Ramona A. Kennedy; children, Lisa Kennedy, Andrew Kennedy, wife, Selina Kennedy, Chris Kennedy, wife, Melissa Kennedy, Billy C. Kennedy, and Dallas Kennedy; siblings, Shirley Lesage, Sandi Rayburn, Margie Braud, Keith Kennedy, and Tommy Kennedy; grandchildren, Maegan Williams, Cortney Hughes, Alyssa McMorris, Morgan Kennedy, and Mia Kennedy, Ashley Kennedy, and Jamie Manning; great grandchildren, Brylie Williams, Caleb Williams, Renley Williams, Baylor Hughes, Abel Hughes, and Kennedy Hughes. Billy attended Central High School and Southeastern University. As a testament to his dedication to his craft, Billy worked as an instrument and electrical technician for 16 years at Exxon and 31 years at Georgia Pacific. His love for his family and friends were forever present and Billy would never pass up an opportunity to help anyone solve a problem or get a project finished. Billy loved being outdoors and was never more at peace than when on his tractor or lawnmower, as he perfected his yard, property and garden. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., Baton Rouge. A visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. A Graveside service will follow the memorial service at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge.
