A retired employee of Evan Hall Sugar Co-op, she died at 12:40 a.m.Sunday, April 15, 2007, at her home in Baton Rouge. She was 70 and a native ofWhiteCastle. Michael Collins. Interment inResthavenGardensof Memory. Survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Coach C.J. Alexander; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Jayne A. Joffrion and husband Marion, Bridget A. Johnson and husband Eric, Mikelyn A. Caballero and Kelly A. Pilley; two sisters, Sylvia Spaht and husband Neill, and June Olivier; brother, Rick Olivier and wife Tanya; brother-in-law, Gerald Alexander and wife Nancy; sister-in-law, Carolyn Korner; 13 grandchildren, Sherry J. Brown, Brooke, Matthew and Ali Joffrion, Laney and Morgan Joffrion, Shea Johnson, Kevin Landry, Clint, Blake and Luke Caballero, and Zachary and Amy Pilley; and a great-grandson, Alexander "Lex" Bovard. Preceded in death by her parents, Uman and Irene Olivier; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clarence "Coon" and Amy Alexander; brother-in-law and wife, Herd and Cecelia Rodrigue; and sister-in-law, Aurelie A. Jones. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and brother. She died peacefully with her husband and daughters by her side.
