I met a beautiful woman that welcomed me into her family with love. I can call and talk to her like my mother. I will miss her dearly talking on the phone and making me laugh. Love and miss her very much.

I miss Mrs. Gandy already.  I often think about that shy smile she had and how she always made me laugh.  She taught me so much and I never doubted that she truly loved me.  Knowing that she is once again with Mr. Gandy is comforting to me because she always spoke about her husband and you could see the glow that surrounded her as she talked about him.  Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Mamma Gandy had an impact on my life that can't be put into words. I remember attending church as a kid and running over to see my "girl", mamma Gandy. My heart goes out to the entire family. Mamma Gandy will never be forgotten and she will always be loved.

How blessed we all are to have had you for as long as we did. I am happy for all the memories we shared. And let me tell you...there weren't any sad ones! I always looked forward to visiting you because I knew I could get away with things I couldn't get away with at home...and that we would end up having fun and laughing the whole time! There was always something to do at Grandma's house. Kailia and I knew we would have you laughing for hours by showing you our cheers and doing our "nasty" dances, your words...which were really rated G!  And later on, those visits would evolve to you providing advice and encouragement we needed to get us through what we were going through. I miss you! I miss you! I miss you! But I'm comforted in knowing you are with Granddad.

To The Gandy Family, you have my deepest Sympathy. Your mother was very dear to me since I met her over 25 years ago and since that time I would always make sure to call her on her Birthday of September 11th. My call was always a day earlier (September 10th) and she never corrected me. She just would accept the call and would continue to give me words to live by.  I will cherish those moments and the calls. May you all continue the legacy of Love that your mother and father showed to everyone that came in contact with.

I've never got the chance to personally meet you, but Trinity always spoke so highly of you. You and your husband were her heart in human form. I know you are smiling down on her and will always be with her.

To say Kyle & I will miss you is an understatement. When paw paw died, he said I have two hearts in heaven. Daddy and grandpa. Now, i'm sure he has 3. When I would call you, you gave me so much hope when I doubted myself. You never ever let me forget everytime I saw or talked to you that I was a great mother. I would always tell you how much that meant to me. Or when we would come, Kyle would run in the house and ring the bell and you would pop up to hear him talk or just stare at him. Or when Kyle would tell you something, you'd say let me write that down to tell your aunt Bettye. I knew I could make stuffed bell peppers for you and you would eat them in 2 days :-) I'm going to miss you terribly and that's selfish of me, but I know you are extremely happy to be in heaven. I have memories and pictures to last me a lifetime and to have you for 31 years, I am blessed beyond measure. I love you always! 

I didn't have the chance to meet Mrs.Gandy but I've had the opportunity to know her granddaughter for years . If she was anything like her granddaughter then I know she had an extremely beautiful spirit inside & out . Continuously praying for family during this time . 

I didn't know Ms. Gandy but I know her granddaughter. Her granddaughter is a joy so I know that Ms. Gandy must have been too. Rest in power and blessings and peace to the family. 

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Mrs. Gandy was a "Jewel" she was one of my mother's best friends and my mentor.  I would go over to her home and spend almost a full day with her talking, looking at her plants and new beautiful decorations she made for her home Mrs. Gandy was very creative.  She gave the best advice to me whenever I asked her how to move forward on life's indifferences I never forgot what she said and have passed in on in life to anyone who needed it.  RIP, Mrs. Gandy.

I went home and told my grandma.One day we was outside in the driveway and the little boy passed by on his bike. I told my grandma that's the boy who hit me and she was shouting you better leave my grand baby alone. I swear that made me fill so much better.That was the type of grandmother she was. When it came to her grandkids she did not play. My heart is heavy but I know God does not make mistakes. You are with your husband and oldest daughter. I love and miss you grandma.

Mommee, you spoiled each of us. You continually put us first, before your needs but you did learn to drive while I was away in college. I will always remember when you drove over the old MS river bridge to get me. Well, your two love ones have called, Jesus and Daddy. but again, even though you wanted to be with them so much, you sacrificed yourself to stay until you knew we were ready. Lovingly you knew the time had come, you patiently waited for me. I know your eyes were on Heaven although you were looking at me, it was time. Thank you for those precious moments when I saw you take your last peaceful breath, right before I said "say hello to Daddy, we all love you and I called all your children's name" and then you were gone.
