Our “Lil Cajun General”, was born January 25, 1928 and passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the age of 94.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel C. Rice of Slaughter; parents, Daisy Morrison Theriot and Horace J. Theriot of Baton Rouge. She was the last of eight siblings of the Theriot family to pass away.
She made us proud by becoming Head of Accounting at Lane Memorial Hospital. She retired and enjoyed traveling across the U.S. and Canada via motorhome with her husband, Charles W. Mills of Baton Rouge.
A visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Services will be at 12pm Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Greenoaks Funeral Home with interment to follow at Redwood Cemetery in Slaughter.
