Barbara Morales

Barbara Richard Morales, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away peacefully at home Monday, April 25, 2011, at age 77. She was member of St. George Catholic Church. Barbara loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren, sewing and cooking. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Claude Jr. and Delcia Morales, Robin and Carl Boudreaux, Richard and Rachel Morales, Raven and Darrell Johnson, and Lark Jean Morales; nine grandchildren and their spouses, Nicole and Jason Cline, Derek and Becky Morales, Erika and Jason Carnahan, Danielle and Keith Corkran, Monique and Joshua Serrette, Jessica and Brandon Wininger, Gabriela and Michelle Morales, and Kayla Johnson and her fiancé Lance Vincent; five great-grandchildren, Ashton, Jase, Trey, Cohen and Joni; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Claude Morales Sr.; parents, Walter and Helena Richard; two brothers, Bill and Jeff Richard; and four sisters, Ida Mae Kerne, Shine Charlet, Marion Fakier and Betty Casso. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 26, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Wednesday at St. George Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev.
