Mrs. Barbara Ann McKeithen

Barbara Ann McKeithen was the second oldest child of six siblings. After marrying Bob, she started her career in insurance with Life & Causality Co. before owning her own Allstate branch in Baton Rouge. She also taught classes in the insurance industry for the Life Underwriting Training Counsel, and ultimately retired in 2001. She loved her family and friends, and always made sure the family got together to celebrate holidays and special events.

She was preceded in death by Cecil C. Johnson, father and Mary Elizabeth Johnson, mother.

She is survived by Husband, James Robert McKeithen of Baton Rouge; Daughter, Melissa M. Dupre` and husband Bret of Las Vegas; Daughter, Tanya M. Berthelot and husband Ross of Baton Rouge; Grandson, Garon LeBlanc of Baton Rouge; Granddaughter, Alayna Flynn of Baton Rouge; Grandson, Hudson Berthelot of Baton Rouge; Step-granddaughter, Holly D. Kelly and husband Brandon of Denham Springs; Sisters, Betty J. Pedigo, Sandra T. Sanford and husband Eric; Brothers, William C. Johnson, Richard C. Johnson and wife Fran and Randall D. Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews, and lifelong friend Kathy Desadier.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation and service, which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on October 19, 2017 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm. Burial to be held in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Reception to follow at Greenoaks Life Reception Center.
