Ashley Nicole Purpera

Ashley Nicole Purpera, 24, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 15, 2016. She was a resident of Central, Louisiana and a 2010 graduate of Denham Springs High School. She was also a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Ashley was a ray of sunshine who loved her family and friends with all her heart and understood that this place was not her home. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 18, 2016, from 5:00–8:00 pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70815. Visitation on Monday, September 19, 2016 at St. Louis King of France, N. Sherwood Forest Dr., Baton Rouge, LA 70815 from 10:00-11:00 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Graveside service to follow at Greenoaks Cemetery. Ashley is survived by her parents, Brian Vincent Purpera and Lisa Robin Purpera, sister and brother in law, Kimberly Purpera Marine and William Marine, Jr., grandparents, Gerald and Trudy Purpera and Martha and Nolan LeBlanc, numerous aunts and uncles, Dennis Purpera, Arlene Purpera, John “Robie” and Cindy Robin, Scott and Emily Robin, Albert and Cindy Martin, Wendell and Michelle Miley, Wally and Kelly Roberts, Shelly Robin and numerous cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Johnny and Gail Robin, Al Martin, Sr., and uncle Mike Forbes, Sr. “I can only imagine when that day comes when I find myself standing in the Son.” Ashley no longer has to imagine because of her faith in Jesus Christ, she is standing in the Son! We will miss her so much but we hold on to the the faith that we will see her again when that day comes.
