A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Assumption Parish, she passed away Thursday February 7, 2013 at the age of 96. Visiting Monday February 11, 2013 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church from 9:30am till Mass of Christian Burial at 11am conducted by Rev Michael Moroney. Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Hebert, Jacob Haynes, Bruce and Kevin Melancon, Joseph Samson V, and Dallas Samson. Annette is survived by her son Joseph A. Samson III and wife Sylvia, five grandchildren Kim Hebert, Robin Melancon, Janet Haynes and husband Daryl, Donna Craddock and husband Brad and Joseph Samson IV, fifteen great grandchildren, sixteen great great grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and two step great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph A. Samson Jr., granddaughter Joi Ellen Watts. She was a longtime member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters Alter Society.
