Anne “Annie” Welch passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, June 3, 2017. She was born in Baton Rouge Louisiana, on March 8, 1920. She served as a WAC during World War II and returned home to become the wife of her sailor husband. They resided in Baton Rouge along with their beloved daughter Lisa.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Frances Nettles, her sister Mary Alma Breaud, her husband Lewis Welch and her daughter Lisa Anne Welch.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, William Breaud, Margaret Breaud Jacob, Mary Breaud Miller, Richard Breaud, Emily Breaud Inzinna and their families.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 7,2017 from 10:00am to 12:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 12:00pm . Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
