Anne R. Holliday Kane, age 78, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2015, surrounded by her family. A native of Baton Rouge, she was born on April 22, 1936. Anne was a parishioner of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her father, Col. Joseph A. Holliday; her mother, Madeleine R. Holliday; and by a granddaughter, Mary Katherine Laborde. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Patrick J. Kane, Jr.; and by her six children: Timothy M. Kane and his wife Kathy P. Kane and their son and daughter, James M. Kane and Madeleine L. Kane; Terrance M. Kane and his wife Dora D. Kane and their daughter, Robyn E. Kane; Stephen J. Kane; Kathleen E. Kane Laborde and her husband David M. Laborde and their daughter Victoria E. Laborde; Robert D. Kane and his wife Carla Y. Kane and their son and daughter, Daniel P. Kane and Lauren M. Kane; and Sarah M. Kane and her son, Samuel P. Kane. Anne is also survived by her sister, Patricia Holliday Thompson. Special thanks to Dr. William H. Hines and Dr. Linda C. Stewart for their care and concern for many years. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Saturday, February 14, 2015, from 5pm until 8pm. Funeral service will be at 8pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park, 4045 North St., on Monday, February 16, 2015, at 11am.
