Anna Maria Casso

Anna Maria Brown Casso was born in Baton Rouge to her parents Richard "Buddy" and Audrey Alleman brown on July 18, 1965. She tragically passed away of a heart attack on October 4, 2022. Anna was the beloved wife of Kenny and mother of Lorenzo. She was the manager of Diamond Distributors in Baton Rouge for 40 years and the co-owner of Watch Repair with her husband Kenny. Anna was devoted to her family and friends. She loved to cook, tend to her flowers, and listen to music and to dance with Kenny and Lorenzo.

She is survived by her husband, Kenny R. Casso, of 27 years; son, Lorenzo C. Casso; mother, Audrey Brown; brother, Mark and wife Terri; brother, Rick; two nieces, Kali Brown and Chelsi Casso; nephews, Richard, Justin, and Matthew Brown, and Cori Casso; brother-in-law, Coy Casso and his wife Teri. She had a whole host of cousins and four godchildren, Kali Brown, Claire Ripollo, Devin Clark and Justin Clark.

She is preceded in death by her father, Richard "Buddy" Brown, and her beloved stepson, Ryan Casso. Visitation will be Saturday, October 8, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church from 9 - 11:00 am with a Funeral Mass to begin at 11. She will be entombed in the Casso Family tomb at Hope Haven Cemetery, Hwy 30, Gonzales. Pallbearers will be Lorenzo Casso, Richard Brown, Justin Brown, Matthew Brown, Kali Brown, and Brad Crosby. Honorary Pallbearers are Claire Ripollo, Devin Clark, and Justin Clark.
