Ann Wales Taylor of Central, Louisiana passed away to be with the Lord on June 17th, 2024 at the age of 92. She was a model Christian lady that will be greatly missed but never forgotten. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Huey Taylor, her oldest son Dennis Taylor and grandson Jackson Taylor. Also by her parents, Mr and Mrs George Wales Sr. of Watson, La, brother George (Buddy) Wales Jr of Baton Rouge and sister Ruby Lantz of Baton Rouge. She is survived by three sons, Terry (and Lesley) Taylor of Zachary, Darrel Taylor of Central, and Randy (and Esther) Taylor of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Also by two grand-daughters Rachael Taylor Fauntleroy (and Bryce) of Central, Caroline Taylor Butler (and Ben) of Athens, Georgia, and great granddaughter Eloise (Lollie) Butler of Athens, Georgia. Mom was a very sweet, caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She loved Jesus, her family and taught by example. Without a doubt, we know Mom is in heaven with Jesus and reunited with loved ones. We will miss her prayers, her smiles, her encouragement and her unparalleled love, but we know we will see her again! Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday evening June 21, 2024 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Saturday afternoon from 1:00pm-2:00pm. The funeral service will be immediately following the visitation at 2:00pm, conducted by Reverend Wayne Austin. Burial at Greenoaks Memorial Cemetery will follow. The Taylor family would like to express our sincere thankfulness and gratitude to our beloved brother, Darrel Taylor, who lived with Mom and Dad and took care of them for many years. Darrel, we love you and pray that God will richly bless you with great joy, health and happiness in the years to come.
