Our heavenly Father brought our mother home on Monday, April 27, 2015. Angie Dellucci, native of Brusly and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away at the age of 94. She is survived by daughter Danielle Wyatt and son Mike and wife Bernadette Alello Dellucci; grandson David and wife Rachel Dellucci; granddaughter Kristen Dellucci; two great grandchildren, Calvin Ardoin and Ruby Dellucci; sister Annette Mansur; brother Peter Curcio, Sr.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, AJ. "Cappy" Dellucci; parents, Sam Sr. and Lena Curcio; brothers, Sam Jr. and Frank Curcio; sisters, Mary Milazzo, Virgie Dupuy, Jo Brock, and Concetta Curcio. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She was a retired employee from LA State Department of Health and Hospitals, and was among the founding parishioners of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. She spent her entire life caring for others. Her hobbies included traveling, dancing, sewing, cooking and gardening. We express our heartfelt thanks for the loving care of all Mom's caregivers especially Joyce Slaughter, Catherine Dukes and Margaret Short and to all the staff of Notre Dame Hospice. The family requests that instead of flowers, donations be made to The Shriners Children's Hospital in Shreveport, LA or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
