Alicia Ammon

A loving mother and grandmother passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at the age of 86. She was the owner of General Placement Inc. and Temp-Timers, Inc. and a very talented artist. She was a resident of Baton Rouge and native of Mexico City. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum 9595 Florida Blvd. on Monday, July 1, 2013, from 2:30 PM until the graveside service at 3:30 PM. She is survived by one daughter, Donna Ammon Comeaux; one son, Rick Ammon and fiancé, Tami Tynes Stiteler; daughter in law, Libby Ammon; one sister, Chari Coote; 6 grandchildren, Chives B. Comeaux, Donna DeShay Esnard Schilling and husband, Steven, Richard Boyd Ammon II, Brandon Scott Ammon, Brian Gene Ammon, and Kaylon Oglesby; two great grandchildren, Joseph Paul and Benjamin Daniel Schilling; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene O. Ammon; parents, Francisco and Alicia de Regil; two daughters, Sandra Ammon Esnard Rester and Alicia Ammon Bourgeois; two grandchildren, Tracie Lynn Comeaux and Paul Ryan Esnard; and one brother, Francisco de Regil.
