Alberta 'Bert' Pittman Brown passed away January 3rd, 2024. She was 89 years young and a native of Kokomo, Mississippi. She was a member of Family Worship Center. She & her husband were owners of Brown's Auto Service. She loved entertaining friends & family, boating, camping, fishing, drag racing, NASCAR, getting her hair & nails done weekly & LSU Sports. She is survived by daughter Sheila Brown, son Scott Brown (Donna), Brothers: John Alton Pittman, Sedgie Ray Pittman (Glenda), Travis Pittman (Janie), Granddaughters Jennifer Jenkins (Mike), Brandi Blackwell (Bradley), Brooklyn Hall (Travis), Great grandchildren Hudson Jenkins, Laylah Jenkins, Ellie Michael Jenkins, Braelynn Blackwell, Kiah Hall, and Logan Hall. Preceded in death by her parents: father Sedgie Forest Pittman, mother Johnnie Mae Pittman, husband of 39 years John F. Brown Jr., sisters: Wilkie Moore & Syble Ramsey, brother Dudley Pittman. Pallbearers will be Mike Jenkins, Hudson Jenkins, Ken Ramsey, Ray Ramsey, A'Qunicy Bradley and Trent Pittman. She was a member of the Crusin' Cajuns, Family Motor Coach Association & Texas Outlaws. Arrangements are as follows at Greenoaks Funeral Home in Baton Rouge on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Visitation 12pm- 2pm. Religious services conducted by Brother Don Richard at 2pm followed by burial at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
