Albert H. “Danny” Daniels, a retired Chief Petty Officer of the U.S. Navy with 23 years of service, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018, at the age of 88. He was a native of Little Rock, AR and a long-time resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Danny was an active 88 year old who enjoyed mowing his yard, feeding the birds and squirrels and playing bingo with his wife. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Danny is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Daniels; daughter, Connie Lanning and husband, Bill; daughter-in-law, Wendi Bennett; four grandchildren, Jessica Lanning, Melissa Lanning, Nolan and Jordyn Bennett; and countless family and friends. He is preceded in death by his son, Lloyd Bennett. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 12:00PM until the time of funeral service at 2:00PM.
