Agnes Lou Campbell, 90, passed away peacefully in her home on August 1, 2024. A lifelong resident of Louisiana, Agnes was a dedicated and hardworking woman who found immense joy in her work at the LSU cafeteria, where she cherished being surrounded by the vibrant energy of the students. Her love for Cajun food, Mardi Gras and all things New Orleans was infectious, and she carried that passion with her throughout her life.
Agnes was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, whose family meant the world to her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold William Campbell, and her children, Patrick Campbell, Lizzie Kujundzic, Harold Campbell Jr., grandchild Steben Campbell, and great grandchild Colin Williamson.
She is survived by her children Steve Campbell (Kathy Campbell), Karen Smith (Fred Smith), Gwen Boudreaux (Mark Dupre), Willie Campbell, and Chris Campbell (Marcy Campbell). Agnes leaves behind a legacy of love in her 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish her memory.
