Russell Lewis Zimmerman passed from this life June 4, 2012. He was born September 3, 1942 in Meridian, Mississippi to Susan Irene (Graham) and Russell L Zimmerman, Sr.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Edward Menefee.
Russell is survived by his wife, Penny Zimmerman of Bastrop, two daughters, Brenda Simpson of Bastrop, Connie Mason and her husband Bob of Del Rio, 5 grandchildren, Jessica Mason of Del Rio, Joshua Simpson of Bastrop, Joseph Simpson of Bastrop, Christopher Mason of Del Rio, Kasandra Mason of Del Rio, great-granddaughter, Makaylee Ann Mason of Del Rio, brothers, Dexter Menefee and his wife Debbie of Dallas, Doug Menefee of San Marcos and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
