James Edwin Barclay, of Cedar Creek, passed away on January 4, 2013 at age 84. He was born to Arthur Barclay and Lois Patzsch in Cleveland, OH on December 8, 1928. James was preceded in death by his wife, Ona Doris Barclay; daughter, Billye Lois Barclay; and his parents. He is survived by his children, Deborah Barclay Hendricks of Elgin, TX, Carmen Ponder of Bastrop, TX, Patrick Gilmore of Onalaska, TX, and James A. Barclay of Wichita, KS as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and numerous other family members. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held Friday, January 11 at 1:00 pm at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home, 505 Old Austin Highway, Bastrop, TX 78602.
