Gordon Gibbons

Gordon Bruce Gibbons of Bastrop passed to his eternal rest on January 3, 2013 at age 86. He was born August 3, 1926 in Wolfe City, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, M.D. and Pearl Gibbons. Gordon is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Marie Gibbons. He is also survived by his children, Dixie (Steve) Gibbons-West and Michael (Renee) Gibbons and his grandchildren, Anthony, Andrew, Kimberly, Jennifer, Amanda, and Matt. Gordon worked for Wallace Engraving in Austin, TX for 20 years and retired from the Texas State House of Representatives print shop. He was an avid golfer and UT sports fan as well as a gifted artist and photographer. A graveside service will be Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 2:00 pm in Gause, TX.
