Dorothy Bumstead passed from this life May 30, 2011 at the age of 89. She was born November 30, 1921 in Anson, Texas to John A. Orr and Ellis Carlton Orr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bumstead and her daughter Laura Yates.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Fred Bumstead of Seattle, WA , one grandson and many close friends.
Visitation was Thursday, June 2, 2011. Funeral Services were Friday, June 3, 2011 at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop, Texas. Burial followed the services at Bateman Cemetery, Bateman, Texas.
