Buford was an expert homebuilder and cabinet maker. He served in the US Army for 2 years during the Korean War.
Buford’s greatest love was his family and his bible. He read his bible faithfully and spent every minute he could doing things with his family.
Buford is survived by: his wife of 67 years, 2 months and 28 days; his son, Michael; daughters, Kathy Trench and Jean Ward and husband Wayne; 9 grandkids; 11 Great-grandkids; a brother, Raymond Price; and a sister, Mary Lewis.
He was preceded in death by: a grandson, Buford Charles Trench; his parents, Authur and Alice Price; a son-in-law Charlie Trench; brothers, Lee, Ben, and CW Price; and a sister, Audra Mitchell.
Visitation was Tuesday evening at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop. A Celebration of Life was held Graveside in Fairview Cemetery at 11:00a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015 with full Military Honors provided by the Bastrop County Honor Guard.
Honorary Pallbearers are: Bobby Woehl, Wayne Ward, Charlie Brooks and Raymond Price.
