Shirley is survived by her son, Shawn Painter of Ridgeway; brothers, Glen Hopkins (Becky) of Stoneville, NC, Gerald Hopkins (Yvonne) of Ridgeway, VA, Ronnie Hopkins (Laura) of Ridgeway, VA and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Mercy Crossing Church, 1978 Joseph Martin Hwy, Martinsville, VA at 1:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
