Noah Enos "Cricket" Swinney

Born February 27, 1964, in Martinsville, he was a son of the late Carrie Payne Swinney and Robert Jasper Swinney.

Also preceding him in death was a brother, James Robert Swinney, and a sister, Bonnie Marie Sawyers.

He was a self-employed paint contractor.

Surviving are two sisters, Helen Akers of Axton, and Maxine Mays of Spencer, 4 brothers, Glenn Swinney, Charles Swinney and Marshall Swinney of Axton, and the Rev. Sam Swinney of Robbins, NC.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 20, 2010, from 6 to 7 P.M. at Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Bassett.

A memorial service will follow at 7 P.M. with the Rev. Sam Swinney, the Rev. Randolph Sawyers, and the Rev. Donnie Young officiating.
